Because he loves me (and because he knows I can get a little testy when faced with piles of laundry and rugs laced with Moon Sand), Mark took the kids to the park today so I could get caught up on some things around the house. I’ve been in the middle of a Feng Shui Attack, and while it’s a nice feeling knowing my dvd collection is organized according to rating and genre, and my cupboards are arranged by food group, I’ve neglected the basics this past week… such as clean toilets and windows.
Mark grabbed the camera on the way out the door, and in between trying to convince Ryerson that hanging upside down from the teeter-totter probably wasn’t such a good idea, and reminding Carter what happened the last time he decided to climb a tree (which required 14 stitches and a plastic surgeon), he managed to take a few really cute pictures.

Disclaimer: In case I’ve never mentioned this, I have a problem following simple directions (so that’s why my kids don’t listen… hmmm, go figure), such as “… pictures YOU took”, as instructed by Sarcastic Mom. Forgive me, Lotus… I know not what I read. Actually, I didn’t notice the, ahem, fine print (which, unfortunately, was glaringly obvious, but I prefer to blame my shortcomings on circumstances outside of my control), so I promise that next week I’ll play by the rules and post pictures that I took.
