"What is this "Happy Birthday" crap? I wanna hear some George Jones."
Yesterday Mark and I and the kids went to Providence to Ryerson’s friend, Kelby’s, 2nd birthday party… according to Ryerson and Kelby, they’re “best friends”. Whenever Mark and I get together with Cherish and Kelly, Ryerson and Kelby can’t seem to get enough of each other… they hug. They pat each other on the back and smile at each other.
"Mom, I really dig this coloring book. Do you think Kelby would notice if I took it home with me?"
They kiss, fer cryin’ out loud.
Why? Because they’re best friends.
I’d like to know where all this love when I was babysitting Kelby…. I must have missed it while I was trying to keep them from smothering each other with pillows and trying to explain to them why throwing Matchbox cars at each other probably wasn’t such a good idea.
"Yeah, that's cool. Is it time for cake yet?"
Hmmm… go figure.
Anyway, I managed to take a few pictures while we were there… not as many as I would have liked, and I was really hoping to take a picture of the two of them together, but maybe next year.
Maybe when we’re not trying to keep the two of them from accidentally impaling the other with a golf club.
"Call me Tiger, baby!"

yeah, Little Man and his buddy I call Chipmunk Cheecks were the same way. I mean inseperable but at the same time you had to seperate them or the world could implode from all the destruction
